Article Tip: Make the most of the article title

Posted in Article marketing by Justin Brown on the May 23rd, 2006

One thing I notice when I view many article directories is that some authors do not make the most of the title of their article. Of course the article title needs to be interesting to grab a readers attention, but there are also ways that authors can use the title to bring readers to the article from search engines. ArticleBlotter.com articles are enjoying a steady increase in readers from Google all the time, but carrying out these simple tips could benefit your articles’ traffic even further:

- Include the main keywords (related to the topic of your article) in the title as near to the beginning as possible.
- Avoid using “and”, “or” as much as possible.
- The least amount of words you can place in your title, the more weight Google will give to the keywords.

…but still consider when deciding on an article title that a readers attention needs to be grabbed! I'’ll let you decide how you feel you can do this.
