3 injured in shooting at South Carolina elementary school

From My Fox 8:

Law enforcement and emergency crews are responding to a shooting at a South Carolina elementary school.

Law enforcement was called to Townville Elementary School at about 2 p.m. in reference to an “emergency situation,” according to WHNS.

Multiple injuries have been reported and a suspect is in custody, the station reports.

An Anderson County Sheriff’s Office official said two elementary school students and one teacher were injured in the shooting. The official also said the suspect in custody is a teenager.

The Anderson County Coroner’s Office is headed to a reported death on Osborne Road in Townville that officials say is connected with the incident at the school, WYFF reports.
