AP Deletes Clinton Foundation Tweet After Hillary Complains

Team Clinton is miffed about a tweet the AP put out on donors to the Clinton Foundation. It demanded the tweet be removed immediately.

The AP obliged. The tweet is nowhere to be found.

The tweet in question reported half of the donations to the pay-for-play money mill came from foreigners.

AP may have fudged the numbers.

But the fact remains. The Clinton foundation took money from Saudis and other foreigners.

This is not in dispute: During the four years Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, the Clinton Foundation run by her husband took tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments and corporations, explains Vox.

The corrupt, warmongering, and fossilized Wahhabi regimes in the Persian Gulf have donated millions to the foundation. They didn’t do this because they are philanthropists. They did it to buy influence.

The claim that this is all just about trying to help people in need should not even pass a laugh test, let alone rational scrutiny. To see how true that is, just look at who some of the biggest donors are. Although it did not give while she was secretary of state, the Saudi regime by itself has donated between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation, with donations coming as late as 2014, as she prepared her presidential run. A group called “Friends of Saudi Arabia,” co-founded “by a Saudi Prince,” gave an additional amount between $1 million and $5 million.
